Do you like to design a lesson inside a video?

I do like to try the new iPad app TouChcast when I receive my iPad. Maybe there are other interactive video applications but I feel that something is different about this app. It brings everything you want to do inside the screen instead of waiting to finish the video or pausing it to be able to take notes, or checking Tweeter! Watch this video to learn more about it then let me know what do you think.

  1. Wow, this is the ultimate multi-taskers dream come true. I see how this can be helpful for us to do more and more at the same time. But sometimes you wonder, what gets neglected while you are paying attention to 5 things at once.

    1. Hi Kat, I wonder the same thing about multitasking. Is it good or bad? Are our brains absorbing all of this input and we are just not aware? At any rate, it is so cool, and now I want a touch screen laptop! :)

    2. Hi Kat and Barb, I think multitasking is good for older learners who wants to. So, a tool like this will give them a chance to be multitasks or not depending on their preference (multiple intelligence). http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Theory_of_multiple_intelligences

I remember when I was in collage taking Biology classes, I was wishing for something like this design where students can draw on a video and make notes. At that time, I thought that was crazy! I cannot even imagine what would happen if we had social media and social networks back then :-0
